10 life-changing laptop accessories for college students

So you have your student connected with a laptop and a backpack. They are all ready to face the world, right? Well, yes, but they will need some accessories to really get the most out of this dormitory space. Leaning on a laptop screen for hours of study is not exactly ideal.
Fortunately, we have everything they need to get the most out of their configuration in a one -stop shop. Pull them with some or all these extras, and they will be a study, class and passing machine. Or maybe play a lot of League legends. Do not judge, the college is stressful.
I classified this list from what I consider as the most essential addition to a standard laptop. If you have a budget, opt for the best items.
USB-C monitor: Dell S2722DC

Apron
I think the first thing you need to equip your student to maximize their productivity with a laptop is a instructor. Not only is it much larger than their portable screen, but the laptop becomes a secondary instructor when connected, which gives them a serious boost in real estate and window management.
Dell makes super reliable monitors at advantageous prices, and this model has everything you might want. With a 27 -inch screen and an increased resolution of 2560 × 1440, it is larger and clearer than a standard budget screen, and the IPS panel is precise enough for photo or video editing and other media work. And with a USB-C connection, students can connect and load their laptop with a single cable.

Mouse: Logitech Marathon M720

Logitech
Your student is probably used to using a laptop touchpad, but for maximum productivity, he really needs a separate mouse. And this logitech model is one of my favorites: large enough to be comfortable for prolonged use, small enough to travel easily and multiple years from the battery life from a single AA. It is also a fantastic affair with only forty dollars, and compatible with several machines both thanks to a quick change button. For a student who is constantly traveling, the whole package is.

Keyboard: NUPHY AIR V2

As keyboard nuts, I am generally ready to recommend a huge keyboard keyboard for long strike sessions. But there is a good chance that your student should share a living space with someone in a dormitory or an apartment … and this is the case, something a little more discreet is ideal.
So I would say to go with a Nuphy Air V2. This low profile board has a lot of padding for the quieter strike, and it is easy to slip into a bag for longer sessions on the go. Once again, the multi-apparels is useful, and you can go with air 60 for maximum portability or air 96 if your student does a lot of data entry.

Noise yield headphones: Sony WH-CH720N

Sony
You have therefore chosen a keyboard that will not bother your student’s roommate. What if said roommate is not so conscientious? This set of Sony noise performance headphones should take care of it, and its Bluetooth connection will also work with their phone for mobile music sessions. With an integrated microphone better than the usual helmet helmet, it will be ideal for occasional distance class.

USB-C dock: Anker 555

Being able to pick up your things and go to class with a minimum of hassle is a big problem for a student – I would have killed for a USB -C laptop when I was at university, constantly disconnecting a charger, a surveillance cable and a USB hub. Fortunately, you can do everything with a single cable now, and this Anker hub can manage it cheap.
With the USB-C power, video-out, ethernet for a reliable and rapid quick internet connection, and several card players, all that your student needs to connect you is only a cable. It can manage up to 100 watts from a laptop charger without problem.

Moniteur round: Bureau with an adjustable monoprice -single gas -adjustable gas.

The chances are quite good that your student does not have a massive office with which to work, so the space will be at a higher price. There is no better tool for freeing from space than a monitor arm, increasing the screen to a more ergonomic position at the same time. This model of monoprice is a fantastic affair, and it can tighten at the back of most offices, so there is no required drilling. The fully metal construction with two swivel points and a gas spring should last far beyond obtaining the diploma.

If your student needs more space for books and other school documents, consider adding this laptop stand to the configuration. With a lot of elevator and clearance, this will facilitate installation and decomposition, and it will put the screen of the laptop even with the monitor and make a lot of space for a mouse and a keyboard.

Monitor lamp: Melifo Monitor Light Bar

Twink
The dorm lighting is not always great, and we have already covered the tightening of space. You can solve these two problems with this LED work lamp which is just above your student’s instructor. With the adjustable lighting temperature, it will reduce the eye stress and you can power it directly from one of the standard USB-A ports of the monitor. He even has a practical wireless controller. I use this model on my own desk and I highly recommend it.

Drive USB: Sander 512 GB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB-C

Sandalon
Your student will probably transfer most of their wireless files, but sometimes you cannot beat a good old sneakernet. This 512 GB USB key is massive, capable of containing almost everything that a student could throw him (including high definition video) at super fast speed. And with USB-A and USB-C connections in the same small metal case, they will never hunt an adapter cable even for a phone or tablet.

Office mat: Topographic outline game mat

Siski
For the final key of this student configuration, add a pretty and large office carpet. It is a mouse cushion that serves a food tray, because you know they will snack at the same time. I bought this exact model for me and I love it very much, but you can literally find hundreds of different designs on Amazon at low prices.
