12 Things That Are Better to Do on a Book-Style Foldable

I often hear people say that they like the idea of a foldable book style, but they cannot imagine what they would really do with one. I use one every day, and here are tasks that I do on my foldable that seem much more practical, or simply better than on my previous phones.
12
Watch videos
Most of us imagine that a foldable will worsen the videos, but this is not really the case. Due to the square appearance of the internal screen, the videos are only slightly larger. What makes these phones so excellent for media consumption is the fact that they work as their own stand. You can leave a phone half open and look at what you want on the cover of the cover.
This does not mean that the internal screen does not change the situation in full fullness. When you watch YouTube videos, you can watch a full size video at the top while scrolling the comments below. You can also support the phone more like a laptop, watching a video on the upper half of the internal screen while the lower half is empty. Or you can simply do several tasks with a streaming video on half of the screen while you do something else in the other half.
It is this kind of convenience that makes me watch videos on my smallest screen.
11
Video calls
Foldables may not have the best camera equipment, but as high -end phones, they have better cameras than most. This is not what makes them ideal for video calls – it is the largest screen that allows you to see more faces, and in more detail. You can really distinguish details when someone shares their screen. You can also see the cat while keeping your eyes on the speaking person. And just like watching the video in general, you can easily support the phone anywhere, because it works like its own stand.
Frankly, if you are constantly on Zoom or Google, it is worth buying a foldable for video calls alone.
10
Work with documents
Many of us consider smartphones as an evolution of basic mobile phones. They are more powerful, but they are mainly good for communication and, today, consumption. Others consider phones as pocket computers. These are miniaturized PCs capable of doing almost everything that a desk or a laptop can, limited only by the size of a screen and the quality of the applications,
The creation of Word files is one of these tasks that phones can easily perform, if only the screen was large enough. These documents and mobile offices suit to create them are perfectly sized for foldable phones. If you want to be able to type, format and display Word files anywhere, a foldable is the most compact and effective tool for work.
9
Manage the spreadsheets
Unlike Word files, the calculation sheets created in Excel are not as perfectly suited to a foldable phone. If you live in a spreadsheet day after day, they absolutely feel better on a wide screen. But if you often need to see the spreadsheets and you don’t always want to be in a laptop to do it, it’s worth folding. You can display the spreadsheet you can on a conventional phone much more.
8
Change photos
Most of us use our smartphones as a main camera, if not the only one. The modification of our photos afterwards is not so simple. Although there are countless applications to do this, screens are ultimately too small to distinguish all the details. In addition, there are photos that look great on a telephone display but absolutely terrible when seen on something bigger.
A phone whose 8 -inch screen has a square shape is better able to show what is happening in a photo, which makes them much better for visualization and withdrawal of these images.
7
Draw art or sketch plans
My Galaxy Z Fold 6 is delivered with several ways to draw on the screen using my finger or, more ideally, a pen S. There are ways to quickly outline conceptions for a brainstorming session in an application like concepts or samsung notes.
For artists and illustrators among us, a foldable with a stylus is a portable drawing cushion that you can take anywhere. It can even be used as a coloring book when used with an application like PENUP.
6
Show desktop websites
Most of us stick to the mobile version of websites on conventional phones. This is why such versions were created, after all. But on my foldable, I rarely touch them. On the internal screen of my phone, I exclusively visualize the office versions of the sites.
It is a more important affair than you think. Since we can do virtually anything via a browser and web applications these days, a phone that can comfortably display office sites is almost able to do anything. When associated with a Bluetooth mouse or a stylus, even the smallest drop -down menus are quite easy to navigate. I do it all the time. Without that, I would not be able to format these words for Gree-to geek and write entirely for the web from my phone.
5
Copy and paste between applications
I find that copying and collage on a traditional phone are an essential characteristic, but which seems tedious. It is difficult to see two applications at a time, so I come back regularly between two separate screens.
On a book foldable, there is no lack of ways to multitasize. This is an instance where the default option simply placing two applications side by side makes all the difference in the world.
4
Read electronic books and digital comics
I have gone through several places of lists during my life, and they rarely stick. I don’t like having to transport a separate device only for my books, but I’m not crazy to read them on a narrow phone screen either. But my foldable is the same size as a Kindle. Reading books on a book in the shape of a book seems fair.
Thanks mainly to sources without DRM like humble bundle, I have many digital comics. It is an eye fatigue trying to read them on a conventional phone, so I read them instead on a tablet. This has not been necessary since the way to a foldable phone. I find that this size is perfect, and it is by far my favorite way of reading the comics, even on a physical copy.
3
Read product manuals, contracts and other PDFs
When entrepreneurs built my house, and sometimes when they came for installations or repairs since, I noticed how often they remove their phone to remove the instructions or download a PDF. It is a use for which a foldable is perfect. If I constantly found myself withdrawing the manuals for washing machines and water heaters to do my day work, this alone would be enough to justify the purchase of a phone with a larger screen.

The last entry of the Google foldable line is larger than ever with an 8 -inch screen. Google also promises that the 10 Pro Fold can last up to 10 years of folding and deployment, so this foldable can be an investment.
