145 People Jabbed With Needles at French Music Festival

Music Festival ended with multiple arrests.
While participants across France appreciated music during the annual Nationwide Street festival on June 21, 12 people were detained for having bitten at least 145 people with syringes, according to the Ministry of the Interior of France, by CNN.
“The ministry takes this very seriously,” said a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry at the point of sale on June 23. “Toxicology tests are carried out and the survey is underway.”
The officials do not share what was in the syringes, but said The guardian The fact that they opened an investigation after three people – including a 15 -year -old girl and an 18 -year -old boy – were all guilty in separate places in Paris. (The three said they felt bad after the alleged attack.)
Local police have declared to the point of sale that 13 cases took place in Paris, as well as in other cities in France, including Angoulême, where four suspects have stabbed 50 of nearly 150 victims in total.

Although the Paris police chief Laurent Nuñez Underlined his concerns concerning the alleged attacks, he told CNEWS in French on June 22 that the festival “went well”. Despite millions of participants at the national level, which he described as “unprecedented crowds”, there were “no major incidents”.
This is not the first time that French residents have been concerned with being stung with needles. THE Associated Press shared in June 2022 that more than 300 people reported that they had been stamped at nightclubs or concerts that year.

However, the chief of the poison control center in the city of Nancy Added: “What we fear most is the people who contract HIV, hepatitis or any infectious disease.”
