Foster Parent Sends Dog Off to Be Adopted—Then Learns What Happened to Him

A gap family thought that his dog was finally going to a house forever, but 72 hours later, a new devastator came when she heard that the adopter had a change of heart.
The user of Tiktok @Movingwithmutts, a volunteer of the animal refuge, often promotes dogs, where she learns more about their personality and shares their stories on social networks in the hope of connecting them with an adopter.
She thought that her work with one of her dogs with a foster family, Onyx, was complete when adopted. However, less than 72 hours later, she learned that he had been returned. The adopter “changed her mind”, according to a video on his account.
With a broken heart, this gaping parent went to social networks to defend the great dog whom she knew to be loving and friendly with anyone, including other dogs and cats.
In a Tiktok video of June 2, she shared that the quick change of Onyx closed it. The clip shows him to absorb his freedom with his adoptive mother before his adoption. Then, back in a kennel, Onyx looked terrified. He hesitated with hesitation, looking at her with confusion.
@Movingwithmutts The worst absolute feeling never and feeling that there is not much to do to help him in addition to helping him find his house 😭🤍 He is suitable for dogs and in search of someone who can help him know more about what to do with her energy and his love! Go meet him at Ahs Newark #dogs #adoptabledogs

Instead of dwelling on what happened, it was time to start the process again; Find him a house forever.
Part of the legend of Tiktok reads
Nowsweek contacted @MovingWithMutts via Tiktok to comment.
Friday, the Tiktok video reached more than 30,100 views and 4,632 likes. People could not endure the idea of onyx to get his hopes to be disappointed.
“The poor baby must be so confused, sad and frightened,” wrote a spectator.
Another person commented: “If exasperating. The silver lining was that he was not thrown into the streets and you were informed. Let’s go see this baby!”
“The worst part of the promotion is to choose a house for them that does not work. The guilt is enormous, even if it is not our fault,” wrote a third commentator.
While the Tiktok video has broken the hearts of people, the panels indicate that we receive its happy end. The Humane Associated Societies website has not listed it in the adopted dog section.
