15 hospitalized after skydiving plane crashes in NJ woods

Fifteen people were taken to the hospital when a parachuting plane left a track at an airport in the south of New Jersey and crashed in a wooded area on Wednesday evening.
The accident at Cross Keys Airport at around 21 miles (33.8 kilometers) south-east of Philadelphia, involved an Cessna 208B carrying 15 people, according to the Federal Aviation Administration, which said that the incident was under investigation.
Aerial images of the crushed aircraft shows it in a wooded area, with several pieces of scattered debris nearby. Firefighters and other emergency vehicles surrounded the premises.
Three people were assessed at the Cooper University Hospital Hospital’s Trauma Center in Camden, NJ, while eight people suffering from less serious injuries were treated in his emergency service, according to the spokesperson for Wendy A. Marano.
Four other patients with “minimum injuries” awaited a more in -depth assessment, said Marano. She could not provide the exact nature of the injuries.
On Wednesday, a person who responded to the phone at Cross Keys airport said he had no information on the accident and returned questions to Skydive Cross Keys, a commercial parachuting company at the airport. Skydive Cross Keys did not immediately respond to an email asking for comments.
Gloucester county emergency management warned the public on its Facebook page to avoid the area to let emergency vehicles access the site.
