17-year-old boy found shot to death in Northwest Side street, police say
A teenager was found shot to death on a Northwest Side street early Friday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said officers responded to a call about an unconscious person lying in the street in the 6700 block of West Grand Avenue in the Montclare neighborhood around 12:50 a.m.

Responding officers found a 17-year-old boy who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.
The victim was transported to Loyola Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His identity was not immediately released.

What led to the shooting was not immediately clear.
Area Five detectives are investigating.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
