2 American aid workers injured at food distribution site in Gaza; Palestinians die amid airstrikes and attempts to find food

Two American humanitarian workers in the United States and Israel Gaza Humanitarian Foundation were injured in southern Gaza during an attack on a food distribution site on Saturday. The organization said that the attack was led by Hamas but did not provide additional evidence.
The GHF said that the attackers had launched grenades on a distribution site in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The Foundation then published a photo of the fragments of the explosive apparatus and said, without providing evidence, that it had been exploded by Hamas activists. He said that injuries did not put their lives in danger and that the two men had received medical care.
Meanwhile, Israeli air strikes killed 14 people in the Gaza Strip, the hospital officials in Gaza told the Associated Press on Saturday.
The strikes have reached tents in the Muwasi region at the southern end of the Mediterranean coast of Gaza, killing seven people, including a Palestinian doctor and three children, according to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
Four others were killed in the city of Bani Suheila in southern Gaza, and three people were killed in three different strikes from Khan Younis. The Israeli army has not made immediate comments on the strikes.

The latest blood efforts occur while the ceasefire efforts led by the United States aimed at interrupting a war of almost 21 months seem to gain momentum.
