2 found dead at home owned by director Rob Reiner in Los Angeles in apparent homicide, police say

Two people were found dead in a Los Angeles home owned by director Rob Reiner in what the LAPD is calling an apparent homicide.
Firefighters were called to a Brentwood home Sunday afternoon, where they found the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman. Authorities did not immediately identify them or the circumstances of their deaths. The Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement that the Homicide-Robbery Division responded to the home, but did not provide further details about the investigation, only saying it was an “apparent homicide.”
Rob Reiner is 78 years old and his wife, Michele, is 68 years old.
The famous director is known for films such as “The Princess Bride”, “When Harry Met Sally…”, “A Few Good Men”, “Stand By Me” and “This is Spinal Tap”. A following“Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” was released this fall. His wife is a photographer who took the photo of President Trump used on the cover of his book “The Art of the Deal,” according to Variety.

The couple married in 1989 and have three children.
Reiner, the son of legendary comedian and actor Carl Reiner, rose to fame playing Archie Bunker’s son-in-law Michael Stivic, better known as “Meathead” on CBS’ “All in the Family.” Reiner won two Emmy Awards for this role.
