The Saskatchewan Roughriders will try to remain undefeated when they welcome the Calgary Stampeders during the LCF week’s match on Friday at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

The Roughriders (4-0), who come out of a week off, are the last undefeated team in the league. With a victory on Friday, they would match the best start of a franchise season since 2013, when the Saskatchewan went 11-7 during the regular season and won three in a row to capture the Gray Cup. Last season, the Roughriders also started season 4-0, but lost 35-20 against the Lions of British Columbia in week 5.

The Saskatchewan leaving the quarter-Arrière Trevor Harris, who missed the last game of the team in the concussion protocol, was allowed to play and should start on Friday. The 39-year-old quarterrier and the double champion of the Gray Cup finished 58 of the 806 sides for 806 yards and five affected against three interceptions this season. He led the team to victories on Ottawa, Hamilton and Toronto before Jake Maier Dirie at Roughriders of a 37-18 victory against the Lions of British Columbia on June 28.

Friday’s match will oppose the best LCF offensive team against the best defensive in the League. The Saskatchewan is tied for the head of the LCF in the rating offensive (29.3 points per game), while Calgary leads the League for score (20.3). Last week, the Stampeders only granted 16 points to the title champions of the West Division, the Blue Bombers of Winnipeg, in a dominant victory of 37-16. Calgary (3-1) is tied for the second best record for the LCF.

Roughriders are 5.5 points favorites, and the total point scored is 53.5.

On Saturday in the LCF, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2-2) will seek to win their third consecutive match when they welcome the Ottawa Redblacks (1-4). The Tiger-Cats scored 86 points combined in their last two games, which include an eruption of 51-38 against the title champion of the Gray Toronto Argonauts Cup last week. Hamilton has won 11 of the last 13 meetings between the teams, including the last six in Hamilton Stadium.

Tiger-cats are 5.5-point favorites on Ottawa, and the total point scored is 55.5.

Week 6 ends on Sunday with a confrontation between the two teams at the bottom of the western division, Lions BC (2-3) and Edmonton Elks (1-3). It will be the second match between the Lions and the Elks this season; BC won the opening of season 31-14. Since then, however, the quarter of Edmonton Tre Ford completed 60 of the 82 assists (73.2%) for 772 yards and five affected against a single interception.

Lions are 2.5 -point favorites on the Elks, and the total point scored is 51.5.

The sportsline football expert Emory Hunt knew 13-7 during his LCF choices this year and revealed his selections for week 6, including against the predictions of distribution and relies on the total of each match.

Hunt is the founder and CEO of Football Gameplan, who has provided an analysis of all football levels since 2007. He is a former ball carrier for the Cajuns of Louisiana Ragin and knows the game from a player’s point of view. The dedication of Hunt to the analysis of all levels of professional football helped him crush the LCF, XFL and USFL in 2023, displaying a combined ATS record of 98-73 in his Sportsline articles.

Calgary Stampeders at Saskatchewan Roughriders (Friday, 9 p.m. HE)

Pick: Calgary +5.5
Lean: more than 53.5

This is the game of the week, in my opinion. Calgary comes out of a 37-16 beating blue bombers, while the runners come out of a week off. In its last match, the Saskatchewan hit the Lions of British Columbia 37-18. I expect a ton of points scored here and for the game to be a back and forth. The stamps have enough offense to maintain this game in the propagation of 5.5 points.

Ottawa Redblacks in Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Saturday, 7 p.m. He)

Pick: Ottawa +5.5
Lean: more than 55.5

Dru Brown was back in alignment last weekend in the quarter-Arrière for Ottawa, and he started finding his groove over the match. Because it will be his second match, I expect it more like the guy we expected in the season. This means that the offensive will be much more consistent than in the first half against Edmonton. This propagation of points is a little too much. I think this game comes down to a late basket.

BC Lions in Edmonton Elks (Sunday, 7 p.m. He)

Pick: Edmonton +2.5
Lean: more than 51.5

This should be an excellent match between two -quarters of Canadian departure. Elks Qb Tre Ford improved so much in the last three games, leading to the first victory of Edmonton of the season last weekend. Currently, there is still too much inconsistency of the British Columbia Nathan Rourke for me to trust him in this match on the road against a confident Elks team.
