2025 Ryder Cup Week has finally arrived. The most awaited edition of the legendary competition brings the 12 best players in the United States and Europe to Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, for a biennial competition which is much more than simply boasting rights for 24 months.

The atmosphere for a Bethpage Ryder Cup will be different from the other, and largely on the home team, the Americans are favored to win back the equipment after losing against Europeans two years ago in Rome. This year’s American team will be different from the one who went to Italy while JJ Spaun, Russell Henley, Cameron Young and Ben Griffin made their debut, while Harris English is his second appearance after being part of the 2021 team which won Whistling Straits.

The European team, on the other hand, will be almost exactly the same. The only change on the side that won in Rome? Exchange Rasmus Højgaard on the team for the twin brother Nicolai. Europe and Captain Luke Donald hope that continuity will help them become the first team to win a road Ryder Cup because Europe did this in 2012 in Medinah. The American captain Keegan Bradley, meanwhile, hopes that team camaraderie of a larger team and a home cuisine will help his team find the trophy.

Beyond the chances of winning the event, there is a Paris Smorgasbord for the last significant golf event of the year. From the best goalscores to accessories for each competition day, you can spray the board for the Ryder Cup week before you even match the odds once the teams have displayed their alignments for the morning session on day 1.
