Whoa! Jesse Jackson Jr. Blasts Former Presidents Who Turned Dad’s Funeral Into Leftist Political Rally – RedState

RedState reported Friday on the appalling behavior of some Democrats at Jesse Jackson’s funeral in Chicago, who took what was ostensibly a memorial to the man and turned it into an anti-Trump political rally. Former President Barack Obama was perhaps the worst, launching his typical divisive racial rants and hammering half the American people (Trump voters) instead of talking about Jackson’s life’s work.
As I noted, I found this part of the show appalling and beyond the bounds of decency.
Turns out I was far from the only one who noticed this. The reverend’s son, Jesse Jackson Jr., told the crowd Saturday at a separate memorial at Rainbow PUSH Coalition headquarters that the three former commanders in chief who spoke I didn’t even really know his father.
The opening sentence of this clip is breathtaking, a (figurative) slap in the face to the trio:
WOW🚨: Jesse Jackson Jr. just DELIVERED this at his father’s memorial service:
“I listened to three American presidents who didn’t know Jesse Jackson.”
He added: His father had a “strained relationship with the political order” because of the demands of justice – not race or party.… pic.twitter.com/7HrcIIx3pQ

He added: His father had a “strained relationship with the political order” due to the demands of justice, not race or party. Yet they politicized it anyway.
Let’s talk about Obama, Biden and Clinton who turned the service into a political rally. Dad deserved better.
Wow.
To be fair, though, I read the transcript of Bill’s speech, and it wasn’t as obnoxious as Barack’s or Joe’s.

Jackson Jr. had more, ordering mourners not to turn celebrations of his father’s life into political rallies.
SHAME!
The late Rev. Jesse Jackson’s son blasts the left for turning his father’s funeral into a political rally against President Trump and Republicans:
“Do NOT bring your politics, out of respect for Reverend Jesse Jackson and the life he lived, to these ongoing events… pic.twitter.com/TNYJKPqJBs

Following :
Do NOT bring your politics, out of respect for Rev. Jesse Jackson and the life he lived, to these ongoing services. Come respectful and come say thank you. But these continued services are welcome for EVERYONE – Democrats, Republicans, liberals and conservatives. Right, left. Because his life is broad enough to cover the entire spectrum of what it means to be American.
Perfect.
With this statement at least, Jackson Jr. showed more class than all three presidents (and Kamala Harris, who also took the stage for laughs at the funeral) combined. Too bad they can’t show the same respect as President Donald Trump, despite the fact that he and the civil rights leader were often on opposite sides of the political divide.
Our Jennifer Oliver O’Connell told you this story:
Trump praises Jesse Jackson, highlighting reverend’s conflicted relationship with Barack Obama
Of all this, I think Obama comes across as the worst. We already knew that Biden could barely say a sentence, that Clinton would ramble, and that Kamala would snicker. We’ve seen Barry divide the country many times before, but it was nonetheless shocking to see how angry and bitter he had become.
NEW Former President Obama said it’s “hard to be hopeful” in today’s political climate during his eulogy at the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s funeral:
“Everywhere we see greed and intolerance celebrated, and intimidation and mockery masquerading as strength. »
“We see the science and expertise… pic.twitter.com/Z9vFOOaBYR

“We see science and expertise denigrated while ignorance, dishonesty, cruelty and corruption reap untold rewards. »
“Every day we see it, and it’s hard to hope.”
It was a frankly despicable performance.
The remaining question, as I asked in my original coverage of the story, is: Where the hell is Michelle?
Did the increasingly bitter former First Lady not bother to show up at the ceremony honoring an African-American civil rights icon?
I don’t care about her relationship with her husband, but for someone who has all too recently been hailed by the press as the greatest first lady of all time and who has graced countless magazine covers, that’s a bad one for me, bad look.
