3 killed, 16 wounded in mass shooting outside downtown Chicago nightclub Artis Lounge
At least three people were killed and 16 others injured in a mass shooting in front of a nightclub in downtown Chicago on Wednesday evening, the authorities announced.
Police have confirmed that several people have been shot in Bloc 300 on West Chicago Avenue. A city official said 19 people had been slaughtered, including three fatally in a car shooting.

The shooting apparently occurred when people left the artist Lounge nightclub after an album release evening for rapper Mello Buckzz.
The same block was also the scene of a mass shoot in November 2022When the same nightclub was known as Hush Lounge. One person was killed and three others injured after a group that had been thrown from Hush started fighting.
Police closed the Hush nightclub After this shooting, and Artis Lounge then opened its doors in the same place.
