This includes Rick’s best friend, Shane (Jon Bernthal), his wife Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Hunter Daryl (Norman Reedus) – and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Although there are constant presences, deaths are common with the roaming of the living dead. You are forced to attach yourself to the characters, many of which develop in an interesting way, and it is a punch each time we leave. These people feel real, especially at the start of the seasons, and you are there with them by debating the morality of situations and asking yourself how you would survive.

For a show that lasted so long (and continues to live through many spin-offs), he naturally had ups and downs. Some people will disagree with me, but I think it has remained exciting, with different places and enemies thrown into the mixture to keep things fresh. But if you’ve never watched it, this is the perfect time to catch up before the fifth and last season later this year. The show follows the supernatural events in Hawkins, a small town linked to a frightening alternative dimension called The Upsy Down. The first season concerns a young boy called Will who is removed by a creature from the other world and the later hunting by his mother, friends and police to find him. From there, the stakes only go up.

Foreign things takes place in the 1980s and is strongly based on nostalgia for this time, with clear influences of the films of that time. Children travel everywhere on bikes, use talkies-talkies and have dubious haircuts. This is part of what makes the show so attractive. The show also successfully juggles in all simplicity. Sometimes it’s really disturbing; In others, it’s funny and sweet. The young actors are great, and many have become full stars, such as Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard. They are supported by equally fantastic performances of adults, notably Winona Ryder and David Harbor.

Although the show ends soon, the franchise is not going anywhere, so don’t be disappointed if you want more once you’ve failed. An animated show called Stranger Things: Tales of ’85 arrived in Netflix in 2026, and a play called Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a huge success in the West End and Broadway.

The witch

Even if you haven’t seen The witchYou may already know this in the series of books by the author Andrzej Sapkowski or the video games of the developer CD Projekt Red. This show is an adaptation of the first, in a fantastic world where Geralt (Henry Cavill) is a monster hunter. He also weaves in the witch Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Princess Ciri (Freya Allan), whose stories initially take place on different deadlines.

The show is full of frightening monsters, major action sequences and smooth visuals. And although he can be dark, he is not afraid to have a little fun, especially when Bard Jaskier (Joey Batey) is there. All the performances are great, but Cavill in particular is in his element here, in a role that he was born to play. I must admit that I was not convinced by The witch First of all. I normally hate that I am told that I have to give a show a few episodes before he clicks, but it’s true here, so stay with that if you are in the same boat.

The witch Returns for a fourth season next month, although Cavill unfortunately left the role of Geralt, apparently due to creative differences. He was replaced by Liam Hemsworth; It remains to be seen how his point of view on the character accumulates.
