Man cuts Fiat down to 19.7-inch, two-wheel ride

Compact cars are a popular choice for drivers looking for smaller and more fuel economy driving. But is there too compact? Based on a man’s DIY project, the answer is a resounding “yes”, at least for anyone more than 19.7 inches wide. But even if you can Integrating into the razed Fiat Panda, the experience can descend into an uncomfortably claustrophobic route.
The Fiat Panda has won a dedicated fans base during the decades since its inception in 1980. His name is not a reference to the black and white bear, but the Roman goddess of travelers, Empanda. By 2020, Fiat had sold about 7.8 million, and there is even an annual festival dedicated to the city’s car called Pandino in Pandino which was held in an Italian castle. With only 57.5 inches wide and approximately 1,576 pounds, they remain popular to sail in the tight streets of European cities, but for Andrea Marazzi, which was apparently not small enough.

During a series of Tiktok videos, Marazzi documented his quest to build what is almost certainly the thinnest panda in the world. After having measured its own width, Marazzi decided about 37.8 inches of a donor vehicle, losing two wheels, a headlight and most of the process windshield. Now, less than two feet wide, the remaining panda has not been able to house the original 4 -cylinder engine. Instead, Marazzi exchanged it for a small electric motor powered by a pair of 12 volt batteries.

Even to its diminished size, however, most of what remains is the original Fiat. As Road and track Underlined, the Panda always kept its two other tires and wheels of original, as well as a front and rear seat. Its final shape is thinner than most mountain bikes, and around 600 pounds, is less than half of its original weight. The result is a conductable panda (although somewhat puny) for its creator.
But where do you show a creation like that? In Panda in Pandino, of course.
