US Open: reigning champion Sabalenka storms back against Pegula to reach final again | Aryna Sabalenka

The reigning champion Aryna Sabalenka was simply too good for Jessica Pegula once again, winning her American semi-final 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 Thursday evening in a revenge of last year’s final.

The Sabalenka No to 1 seeded has moved away from becoming the first woman to win consecutive championships in Flushing Meadows since Serena Williams obtained three in 2012 to 2014.
