Law enforcement teams searching for the shooter who killed two Brown University students in their classroom Saturday are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect caught on video in Rhode Island.

“We are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in Saturday’s incident at Brown University. Please share these video clips and direct any tips to 401-272-3121,” Providence police posted on social media Monday.

For unknown reasons, a gunman entered the Ivy League school Saturday afternoon and opened fire on students taking an economics class. At least 11 people were injured, including students Ella Cook and Muhammad Aziz Umurzokov, who died from their injuries. Authorities arrested a 24-year-old Wisconsin man Sunday morning, but released him the same evening.

NBC News said that person was ruled out as a suspect after a ballistics check showed his firearm did not match the weapon used at the crime scene.

A video released Monday by a doorbell camera shows a figure dressed in black and wearing a mask walking in a neighborhood in the province. The FBI released still images of this suspect and also asked for the public’s help.

They described this individual as “a man approximately 5’8″ tall with a stocky build.” He is considered armed and dangerous.

A $500,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
