5 new Netflix shows you can binge in one weekend

If there’s one thing I love about Netflix, it is the platform’s offering of short yet gripping shows. Be it a limited or a miniseries, compact shows make for amazing weekend watches, especially when the plot is thick with intrigue.
In 2026, there are many such shows to look forward to if you’re someone who dabbles in smaller binge-watching sessions. Here are five new Netflix shows releasing or available to stream in the first few months of 2026 that you can finish in one weekend.
The Art of Sarah
Wealth, status, and all the lies that come with them
I love an addictive K-drama with mystery, interesting characters, and a thrilling plot, so I was excited when Netflix’s new K-drama, The Art of Sarah, seemed to check off all the boxes. This 8-episode thriller show follows Sarah Kim, a woman with high status and wealth, whose life slowly begins to fall apart when a body believed to be hers is found in a sewer beneath Seoul’s upscale district.
As Detective Park Mu-Gyeong starts investigating her case, Sarah’s lack of personal records and history of having multiple identities come to light. Soon, Sarah’s carefully built, glittery life begins to collapse in on itself, revealing the truth behind her deception game.
The Art of Sarah is now streaming globally on Netflix.

A short and gripping watch to indulge in, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is a limited series adapted from the popular mystery author’s 1929 detective novel, The Seven Dials Mystery, a hidden gem in Christie’s body of work. The three-part story follows a country house party, where an untimely death is followed by a harmless prank, setting up a classic whodunit.
Socialite Lady Eileen Brent investigates the case, which becomes more mysterious after another murder, connecting both deaths to the theft of a secret formula. The trail leads her down the path of conspiracies, with a shady club called Seven Dials being the key to solving the mysteries.

Lead Children
A heartbreaking tale based on true events
A must-watch limited series this year is the Polish Netflix drama Lead Children. Based on true events from the 1970s, the show follows the courageous story of Dr. Jolanta Wadowska-Król in communist Poland. The young pediatrician begins to notice a troubling pattern: many of the children she treats from a nearby industrial district begin mysteriously falling ill.
As she investigates further, she realizes the cause is widespread lead poisoning from a nearby smelting plant. She begins to fight back against the system, involving government officials who do not want the truth to get out. Soon, the doctor finds herself in a web of political tensions and corruption.

Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine
Another explosive heist is on the agenda
As the second part of the Money Heist spin-off series, Berlin follows Andrés de Fonollosa (Berlin) as he takes on another adventure. Along with his crew, he plans a daring heist involving the iconic Leonardo da Vinci painting, Lady with an Ermine. But beyond the impossible heist, Berlin hides other intentions: to exact revenge on a couple that wronged him.
Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine unravel in the beautiful Spanish city of Seville, so it’s certain to be a feast for the eyes. If you are a Money Heist fan who has yet to get into Berlin’s lore, you can start with the first season, which serves as a prequel and focuses on Andrés’ backstory.
