All is calm on the Western Front received 14 nominations at the 76th British Academy Film Awards (seven times, including Best Picture) and nine nominations at the 95th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won four, including Best International Feature Film.
Pinocchio by Guillermo Del Toro

The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar
Released as part of a short four-part anthology series, all based on the short stories of Roald Dahl, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar is a lively and distinctive short film that tells one of Dahl’s best short stories.
Directed by Wes Anderson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel and Ben Kingsley, this short film tells the story of Henry Sugar, a wealthy man who sets out to discover the secret of Imdad, a guru who can see with closed eyes, so that he can use the power to perform better. The eccentric story behind Imdad’s abilities and how he acquired them, along with Henry’s experience during this journey, forms the plot of this memorable film.

The Elephant Whisperers
A nature documentary film par excellence to stream on Netflix is The Elephant Whisperers. This award-winning Indian documentary tells the heartwarming story of Raghu, an orphaned baby elephant, adopted by a couple in Mudumalai National Park (Tamil Nadu, South India). The elephant keepers, belonging to the Kattunayakan tribe, nurse the injured calf and help it grow strong as their bond deepens. The team working on the documentary spent almost five years living with the guards and Raghu. The documentary also explores the science of elephant rescue and care, as well as calf rearing.

The power of the dog

The power of the dog received eight nominations at the 75th British Academy Film Awards, winning Best Direction and Best Film. It also won Jane Campion the Best Director award at the Academy Awards and is the first film directed by a woman to receive more than ten Academy Award nominations.
