Did you know that many chromebooks support Google Play Store? The Play Store began to take place on Chromebooks in 2016, and all modern models have full support for the Google App Store.

With access to the play store, your Chromebook can actually be a solid productivity power. From graphic design to project management, video publishing, etc., your Chromebook has potential as a reference to do home work and on the go.

I have entered the graphic design for years, often using Photoshop or illustrator to make graphics. Although these tools are always fantastic to use professional, both are quite complicated, expensive and not easy to learn. You will also need a system powerful enough to perform one or the other software effectively.

However, on the other side of the fence is Canva. Canva is a web -based graphic design program that is simple, easy to learn and fairly robust in itself.

There are models for almost everything you might imagine, and the process of going from idea to the finished graphic can be as fast as a few minutes once you have learned the software. In addition, you can use Canva without paying a penny.

Canva works of course my Chromebook Plus, which allows me to easily design the graphics on the go if I don’t have my MacBook with me. I had a great experience to use it and I barely realize that it is an Android application when designing various graphics.

Display task listing application "Reception box" which shows all tasks with priority deadlines and levels.

I recently returned to Todoist for my application list of tasks after a long hiatus to use it. My Tadoist dependence dates back more than a decade at this stage, although I have a booming and offbeat relationship with it.

Regardless of my personal use of Todoist, it works perfectly on my Chromebook via the Play Store. I am delighted with that, especially since I recently reassembled it for my task management.

Similar to Canva, Todoist works as if he was from Chromebook and not an Android application. If you are looking for a solid task application for your Chromebook while we walk to school from soon (Yurk), Todoist is an excellent choice.

Evernote

I have been using Evernote for many years. Although this is not an application on which I count personally at the moment, I realize that it is a fantastic application of taking notes anyway.

If you want to use a full notes application on your Chromebook for school or work, Evernote is a solid choice. The application is not at all limited, and you will find everything available in the mobile version available here, just on a larger screen.

For chromebooks that support tactile input (like my chromebook plus HP), the touch functionality works just as it would on your phone. The entrance to the pen, scribbling and tapping everything work very well in Evernote.

Modification

Edits is a video editing application newly published by the Instagram team. Designed to face Capcut, the changes are not yet available for the office – unless you have a Chromebook.

The Chromebook has access to the Play Store here. Even my MacBook Pro, with access to the iPhone / iPad App Store, does not yet have the possibility of installing changes.

However, Chromeos with the Play Store has the edits app available for installation. This gives you a completely free video editor to use on your Chromebook to create content during the thumb.

Since changes are designed for mobile, it will offer a solid experience for publishing on your Chromebook. However, the changes are optimized and vertical only on Chromebook, so using it with a keyboard and a mouse on a laptop could be a little more capricious.

At the end of the day, however, if you need to change the video on the go, changes are a solid free option to perform the task.

Kanban plates are my favorite way of organizing tasks and projects on which I work. I use them daily for my writing here at How-to Geek, and Trello is one of my favorite Kanban management platforms.

Similar to Todoist, I used Trello for more than a decade at this stage. I left much left (because I recently moved in concept for my Kanban management), Trello works fantastic on Chromeos.

During an Android application, she feels native, like many of the other applications mentioned on this list. The installation procedure is simple and you manage projects at no time.

2

OneNote

If Evernote is too complex (or simply too expensive), OneNote is an excellent alternative that works well on Chromeos. Many schools and colleges include a Microsoft 365 license for students, which gives you the full -fledged version of OneNote at no additional cost.

You can take advantage of everything Oneote has to offer on your Chromebook. From audio recordings to shot, drawing, etc., everything works as if it were a smartphone – just with a larger screen, a longer battery life and a better strike experience.

1

Lumafusion

Although changes are a solid video mounting application for your Chromebook, Lumafusion makes things go by at the next level.

I have been using Lumafusion for many years on iPhone and iPad, but I also like it to be available for Chromebook. Designed as a complete non -linear publisher (just like Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro), Lumafusion offers a professional level experience on your Chromebook.

Within Lumafusion, you can make videos that are both long and short, because it supports the 16: 9 and 9:16 appearance reports. The addition of text, subtitles and even gear ramp is also extremely easy in the lumafusion.

I used to modify all my Instagram rolls exclusively in lumafusion on my iPhone, and the experience is the same on Chromebook. If you are looking for a high -end video editor for your laptop with chrome propulsion, then Lumafusion is exactly what you are looking for.

Did you know that your Chromebook can also do double service as a productivity machine and game system? Once you are productive for the day, simply launch the GeForce Nvidia application on your Chromebook and take advantage of your favorite titles.

If you are not a fan of GeForce now, or if you just want to play offline games, Chromebooks are now supporting steam, which also facilitates reading your favorite games wherever you go!
