8,000-Plus Targets Obliterated, Iran’s Navy Dead in the Water – RedState

On Saturday morning, Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander, United States Central Command (CENTCOM), provided a comprehensive update on the progress of Operation Epic Fury. Admiral Cooper presented a whole list of hit targets.
Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command (CENTCOM), said Saturday that Pentagon operations in Iran have hit more than 8,000 targets since the start of the Middle East conflict.
In his update, posted on social platform X, Cooper said the campaign had weakened Iran’s combat capabilities and crippled its naval forces. He added that the strikes successfully targeted Iranian missile sites and attack drones.
“Their navy does not sail, their tactical fighters do not fly and they have lost the ability to launch missiles and drones at the high rate seen at the start of the conflict,” the commander said in a video.
The Iranian navy, it should be noted, does not sail, as much of it has been converted into artificial reefs for fish habitat. The few remaining Iranian speedboats are pursued by US Air Force A-10s and Apache attack helicopters. Iran, however, continues to launch missiles and drones, but at a reduced rate.
That’s a pretty remarkable list of targets served in just three weeks.
The comments come after President Trump signaled Friday that the United States is “very close” to achieving its goals in the region.
The Trump administration is working to ensure the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Cooper noted that U.S. forces struck 130 Iranian ships in the “largest elimination of a navy in a three-week period since World War II.”
Iran has, however, revealed some capabilities we previously suspected, such as possessing missiles with a much greater range than previously thought.

Latest action against US-UK base shows Trump had justified concerns about Iranian threats
On Friday, President Trump, speaking at a ceremony presenting the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy to the U.S. Naval Academy football team, highlighted CENTCOM’s success against the Iranian Navy in particular.
President Trump: “We’re doing extremely well in Iran. The difference between them and us is they had a navy two weeks ago. They don’t have one anymore. It’s all at the bottom of the sea. 58 ships overturned in two days. We have the greatest navy in the world.” pic.twitter.com/E9VzQzTV4I

The president said:
We are doing extremely well in Iran. The difference between them and us is that they had a navy two weeks ago. They no longer have a navy. Everything is at the bottom of the sea. 58 ships overturned in two days. And we have the greatest navy in the world, it’s not even close. We’re doing very well, we’re not going to let them have nuclear weapons. Because if they had them they would use them, we are not going to allow that to happen. This should have been done long ago by other presidents.
All of this paints a compelling picture of a remarkable, extraordinarily well-planned and well-executed military campaign. Of course, the United States and Israel already had a major advantage, and it is the advantage that always wins or loses wars: logistics. If one of our ships or one of our bombers launches a missile, we have more. When Iran fires a missile or launches a drone, it cannot replace it.
Beans, bullets and gas. It’s always about beans, bullets and gas. We just have more of all these things.
The coming week could see some interesting news from Iran. With the flight of the theocratic regime and the collapse of its army, the Iranian people have a historic opportunity. Let’s hope they seize the opportunity.
Editor’s note: For decades, past presidents have done nothing but talk. Now, Donald Trump eliminates the Iranian threat once and for all.
