Sources – Commanders fear Austin Ekeler has torn Achilles

Green Bay, Wisconsin – Washington commanders fear that the veteran of the Ballon bearer Austin Ekeler has torn his right -trompes to the fourth quarter of the 27-18 Thursday evening defeat against Green Bay packers, sources told Adam Schefter in ESPN.
Ekeler, 30, is due to undergo an imagery scheduled for confirmation on Friday, sources said.
“It will be important,” said Washington coach Dan Quinn about Ekeler’s potential loss. “It provides us with a lot of unique things.”
With 5:50 to play, Ekeler directed a third and 10 route and went to cut, to fall to the ground. He was helped to the touch while the sports coaches looked at his right foot.
Ekeler was taken to the locker room and excluded shortly after. He left the stadium using crutches and wearing a walking boot on his right foot.
“He is one of the great leaders of this team,” said recruit Jacory Croskey-Merritt. “I learn a lot of him, so it’s really difficult.”
Ekeler ended the match with eight rushes for 17 yards. He caught two passes for 7 yards.
He was the best ball carrier in Washington and the third main setback. In 12 games last season, Ekeler rushed to 367 yards and had 366 reception yards.
