In the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the Pentagon clearly indicated that the celebration and mockery of the assassination of an American will not be tolerated in its ranks.

The secretary of the navy, John Phelan, warned that the employees “will be treated quickly and decisively” if they strengthen the department, the Navy or the Marine Corps.

“I am aware of the positions displaying a contempt for an American colleague who was murdered. I want to be very clear: any employee in uniform or civilian department who acts in a manner that causes discredit in the department, @usnavy or @usmc will be treated quickly and decisively,” he said in a position.
