‘Have To Step Up’: RNC Chairman Reflects On Kirk’s Impact On Grassroots Mobilization
The president of the National Republican Committee, Joe Gruuters, thought about the impact Charlie Kirk had on the conservative basic movement in an interview with The Daily Caller on Friday.
Kirk, 31, was murdered on Wednesday when he was addressed to students from Utah Valley University. The founder of Turning Point USA mobilized a unique basic movement, winning young Americans across the country. Kirk has increased Turning Point USA to be a presence on more than 3,500 university campuses and to have more than 650,000 students of students for life, the organization shares on their website. There are currently 300 full -time and part -time employees dedicated to their voting efforts, recruiting new activists and forming young people to become party leaders.
In the 2024 elections, the Kirk team groaned from the United States, working on the recording of republican voters. It was an effort that had an impact on the participation rate for Trump and helped it to win the White House.
“His organization which he created with Turning Point A changed the situation. They went and helped to bring together the troops, rallyed young voters, went to fight again and again through the country. The president of the RNC then called the members of the conservative movement to intensify the memory of Kirk and the work he did for the movement. It is a mission that he says that the RNC will help Turning Point to carry out.

Trump announced Thursday that he would award Kirk the presidential medal of freedom following his assassination.
