The Nothing Phone 3 design just leaked in full – and it’s like Lego designed a smartphone

The Nothing 3 phone is reserved for its big unveiling next month, and if you are interested in spoilers for what it will look like, a bunch of new unofficial rendering have now made their way online.
These images come from Android titles and the Tipster @Mysterylupin, and the design is certainly … unconventional. The rear case is covered with squares and looks like a classic sliding block puzzle game, or as a phone made in partnership with LEGO.
This also reminds me of the prototype of the ARA project that Google developed in the 2010s, a modular phone that unfortunately never reached production. The look here is however all aesthetic – you cannot really move parts from the inside or the output.
There is a small window of glyph matrix in the upper right corner at the rear, as did nothing itself. It seems that it could be used for certain personalized styles, or perhaps to display non-read notification counts or something in this direction.
Opinion
The reactions I have seen on social networks are very positive for very negative, so as you think of this design, you are not alone. Personally, I like it – although it certainly takes a certain time to get used to it.
It is rare these days for a smartphone design to be somehow surprising or interesting, so whatever your opinion, you have nothing to give credit. It also seems that some of these styles on the back can be functional pimples.
In addition to the external appearance, we also expect changes in terms of software of nothing, which will be based again on Android. Previous leaks suggest that the phone will go big on the AI this year.
Nothing said that the phone was launched in July, and unconfirmed leaks suggest on Tuesday July 1 as the big day – so it was not long ago to wait at all. There is no doubt that we can expect a few official teases and unofficial rumors by Tuesday.
