Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ Event Actually Included Some Big Apple Watch Updates

After a few slow years on the Apple Watch front, today’s “AWE Droping” event announcing the new iPhone models has in fact included a renewed accent on the omnipresent of Apple.
As expected, Apple has unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11 smartwatch, as well as a new Apple Watch Ultra 3, and an Apple Watch SE 3. And although the conceptions are mainly similar, there were valid news regarding the features and the life of the battery – and in the case of the SE 3, many other upgrades through the table. Apple even added another potentially vital characteristic of the mixture, providing passive notifications of blood pressure to Apple Watch.
Here are all the biggest updates that deserve to be discussed.
The Apple Watch 11 series obtains 5G and new medical features
The Apple Watch Series 11 looks and apparently works in the same way as the outgoing model, with some features upgrades. Glass at the front is now twice as much scratch resistant. The series 11 also includes 5G, for faster connectivity and download for music, podcasts and applications. The battery life is improved, with up to 24 hours of use between loads.

New health characteristics
Series 11 also has two interesting health characteristics. The first is a new Blood pressure monitoring The system that provides notification during chronic high blood pressure, or hypertension, is detected in the user. Notifications use the data from the heart rate sensor to analyze how blood vessels are repoting to heartbeat. An algorithm works passively in the history of data review over 30 days and informs the user if it notices a hypertension reason. This is not an active blood pressure monitor, as you will get a medical device. Instead, it is an analysis of the data over a long period. Apple says that training data came from several studies with more than 100,000 participants. The functionality is awaiting regulatory approval, but Apple says that it will be shipped to more than 150 countries in the coming month.

Sleep score is another potentially useful fitness metric. The functionality adopts several data points, such as sleeping, bedtime consistency, the frequency you wake up and how long you spend at each sleep stage, so that you can understand (and we hope to improve) the quality of your sleep.
Price
The Apple Watch 11 series starts at $ 399 for the 42 mm version and $ 429 for the 46 mm version. Cell connectivity will cost you $ 100 more. There is a new range of colors this time: jet black, silver, pink and gray of space. Pre -orders start today and the device will start to be shipped on September 19.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 goes longer
The Apple Watch Ultra was not improved last year at all, leaving a lot of room for improvement. The new model comes with a slightly larger screen but the same profile: Apple has managed to reduce the glasses so that they can adapt a larger screen to it in the same body. He also obtains a screen upgrade from the 10 series and provides features from the 10 series, which Ultra missed last year. The screen now uses an OLED LPTO3 screen with an ultra-fast refreshment rate, allowing a vision display of the always hand watch that can display the second hand. Apple also adds a new Waypoint watch face that can help users navigate using a live compass, which is also updated by the second.

The OLED display optimizes each pixel to emit more power to wider corners, which facilitates reading when your watch rests on the table.
Ultra 3 has the same 5G modem, but goes further with satellite connectivity. You can therefore send messages or contact the emergency SOs to contact the emergency services. There is also a massive increase in the battery life, because ultra 3 can now go up to 42 hours without load.
