Sage’s new dual-boiler coffee machine will help you brew espresso and steam milk like a pro

Sage, the company behind several of the best coffee makers I tested here in Techradar, launched a new espresso machine with two boilers, allowing you to shoot a photo of espresso and steam milk at the same time, without waiting.
The Sage Oracle Dual boiler also allows you to choose between automatic and manual modes, so that you can take control of the entire brewing process to obtain exactly the flavor profile you want, or let the machine do the work if you just want a good taste with a minimum effort.
Do you want the Oracle Dual boiler to manage things for you? Just use the color touch screen to choose from a menu of 15 predefined drinks, then follow the simple instructions on the screen to grind and prepare your coffee and cook the milk to perfection (if necessary).
As the Barista Sage impresses with the extraction of the cold that I have tested recently, the Oracle Dual Dual Dual menu includes hot and cold options., Classics like a double espresso or a cappuccino to a martini of Expresso or a shakerato (a drink with ice coffee shaken with simple syrup). There are 15 drinks to choose, which is more than any other sage machine offered to date.
I’m particularly looking forward to testing the Oracle Dual boiler, especially because unlike most home espresso machines, it has a heated group group to help maintain a coherent temperature throughout the brewing process.
The Oracle Dual boiler will also monitor the time it takes to pay each blow and suggest changes in the size of the milling until you get a perfectly extracted espresso. This process, known as “numbering in”, the crusher, is one of the longest parts of coffee manufacturing, and the fact of making the work to calculate the right setting is very useful.
Sage has also not jumped on the accessories. There is a 58 mm professional stainless steel portafilter, and even a Knock box for your land (something I want came with all the best espresso machines).
Of course, all this comes at a price, and the Dual Sage Oracle boiler is one of the most expensive domestic espresso machines on the market at £ 2499.95. It is available directly from SAGE and from a selection of third -party retailers.
