Demare Dezeurn leads Palisades to win over Brentwood

Demare Dentaurn intercepted three passes, returning the last 78 yards for the touchdown, the Palisades prevailed 49-34 to break the sequence of three victories of Brentwood Friday evening in the “Sunset Showdown” annual between the Westside schools located at six miles.
The dentilen, one of California’s fastest sprinters, had four career -touched captures in the opening of the Dolphins season and this time established a better for take -out dishes in a match. He picked up a pass in the first quarter and another in the second where he returned 45 yards for a touchdown, but he was recalled on a penalty. The last one came after a ball with the Eagles (2-2) in motion with 43 seconds to do.
“It was a rocking ball, I broke outside and took it all along,” said the junior transfer of bishop Alemany, who was committed to Oklahoma on Tuesday. “After the first two, I knew I had to have one more.”

During last year’s match, Brentwood Ben Mikail quarterrier scrambled nine yards for the winning touch in double extension. This time, he tried to introduce himself for a two -point conversion, but was approached short of the goal line by free security Tavian Talbert with 2:51 on the left.
“I saw that it was a broken game and that the guy I had to keep was not an itinerary, so I spied on the quarter-tree and I criticized him on the ground,” said Talbert, who recovered the kick. “It feels good to beat them on their field because last year, they beat us on ours.”
Jack Thomas passed for 797 yards and 11 affected in the first two Palisades games and launched three other Friday – two to King Demethris and one in Malachi Ross – while Harrison Carter ran for a touch and turned 85 yards for another score for dolphins (3-0), ranked third in the city section.
Mikail launched Touché passes to Dean Pretlow and Kaymon Jackson, Robert Sullivan and Enzo Longhi each ran for a score, and Kruz Jackson marked on a return of clearance for Brentwood, which leads 4-3 in a rivalry that started in 2018.
Palisades, which reached the final of division I of the city last season, but which is in the running for the division opened this fall, led 21-7 at halftime.
