Phillies beat Dodgers, wrap up 2nd straight NL East title

Los Angeles – Kyle Schwarber, Weston Wilson and Bryce Harper Homered, and the Philadelphia Phillies won their second consecutive title NL East with a 6-5 wild victory against Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday evening.
It was the first division body in the history of the franchise, two days earlier than the 2011 club which won on September 17. The Phillies did this in match 151, second faster in the history of the club behind the 2011 Phillies which did it in the match 150.
The Phillies also won a season of 90 winners for the third consecutive year for the third time in the history of the franchise.
Since the New York dishes were inactive on Monday, the Phillies needed a victory to get the division. They exploded tracks of 1-0 and 4-3 before passing the Dodgers to the head of West NL for their ninth victory in 11 games.
Since the deadline for the exchange of July, the Phillies are 29-14 years. They held it together despite the injuries to key players.
The phillies lost the right -hander Zack Wheeler when he made the list of the injured a month ago with a blood clot on the right shoulder. The club’s pitch depth allowed him to absorb the loss due to his rotation of six men. Wheeler was 10-5 with an MPM of 2.71 in 24 departures when he was sidelined.
Trea Trea Turner (Start of the right hamstrings) and the third basic player Alec Bohm (inflammation of the left shoulder) are both on the IL. Manager Rob Thomson said Bohm could come back this week later to Arizona, while Turner could be back in time for the last house in the regular season.
The victory only made Thomson the third manager in the history of the franchise to win consecutive division titles, joining Charlie Manuel (2007-11) and Danny Ozark (1976-79). It is only the fourth manager in the history of the major baseball league to reach the playoffs in each of the first four complete seasons of a management career. Among the other three, the Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts.
