Windows 11 is getting a built-in speed test

Power users reach a connection test each time their ping exceeds 25 milliseconds. It is therefore a good thing that they will not have to reach very far, at least if the last functionality of Windows 11 does it. An online detective has found an internet speed test hiding in the latest preview constructions, and it is just on the taskbar. How about.
Phantomofearth on Twitter found it, hiding vigorously in the contextual menu with the right button of the network icon. You can also get it in the networking submenu (as illustrated above) as its own dedicated icon. According to Windows Central, the two links will bring you to the Bing Internet speed test. Which is probably nobody’s favorite, but it is just a resized version of the venerable Speedtet.net of Ookla, and it is a lot functional if everything you need is a quick glance at the connection between you and a server nearby.
Microsoft has not officially announced the functionality as something in the 25:2m update, although it is live in the latest Windows initiate constructions, then who knows when or if it really appears. That said, it is a very small change and it is practical, so I don’t see any reason for it not to appear soon enough.
