Israel says Gaza City ground offensive against Hamas underway, as Rubio says time “running out” for peace deal

After a night of heavy air strikes, the Israeli army announced Tuesday that its extended operation in Gaza City “to destroy Hamas’ military infrastructure” began and warned residents to move south.
