Sean McVay says he suffered a torn plantar fascia during Rams win

Rams coach Sean Mcvay should not appear in the team’s injury report this week while they are preparing for Sunday’s match against the title Eagles of the Super Bowl-Champion Philadelphia.
But Mcvay suffered an injury to the foot in last week’s victory over the Titans of Tennessee in Nashville.
During the “Sean Mcvay Show” produced by the Rams, Mcvay said that he had undergone a torn plantar fascia.
“I was dramatic by boiling towards the end of the match,” said Mcvay, adding: “The good news is that I am not playing, so I’m just on the sidelines.
Mcvay, 39, is in his ninth season with the Rams, who opened the season with victories on the Texans of Houston and the Titans.
The Eagles are also 2-0 after victories on the chiefs of Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City.

With the corner half leaving Ahkello Witherspoon on the injured reserve, the Rams added depth to the secondary Tuesday by signing the half of the corner Tre Brown.
Brown, who will be 28 years old next week, played four seasons for the Seattle Seahawks before signing with the 49ers of San Francisco last March. But Brown suffered a heel injury during the training camp, was placed in the injured reserve and was finally released.
Brown, 5 feet, 10 inch and 185 pounds, played in 39 games for the Seahawks, from 13 years old. He intercepted two passes.
Brown joins a group of half -by -corner that includes Cobie Durant, Emmanuel Forbes Jr. and Darious Williams. Witherspoon, who underwent a broken collarbone during the Rams victory over the Tennessee titans last Sunday, is expected to be sidelined for 12 weeks, Mcvay said.
The Rams face the Eagles in defense of the Super Bowl-Champion Philadelphia in Lincoln Field in Philadelphia on Sunday.
