Four arrested after images of Trump and Epstein projected on to Windsor Castle ahead of president’s visit | Donald Trump
Four people were arrested after Donald Trump images alongside the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were screened at the Windsor castle, where the American president should be organized by King Charles during his state visit to Great Britain.
Trump arrived in Great Britain late Tuesday for an unprecedented second state visit, and will be greeted by Charles on Wednesday for a day of pump at the Windsor castle, about 25 miles west of London.
Earlier Tuesday, the demonstrators deployed a massive banner featuring a photograph of Trump and Epstein near the castle of Windsor, and then projected several images of the two on one of the towers of the castle.
The police said that in a statement, four adults had been arrested for suspicion of malicious communications after an “unauthorized projection” at the Château de Windsor, whom they described as a “public blow”. The four remain in detention.
The Democrats of the House of Representatives of the United States made public last week a birthday letter that Trump would have written to Epstein over 20 years ago, although the White House denied its authenticity.
The letter was also projected on the castle, as well as photos of Epstein victims, information clips on the case and police reports.
The release of the letter drew renewed attention to a question that has become a political spine on the president’s side.
Although he urged his supporters to leave the subject, the appetite for more details on Epstein crimes and who could have known them or who were involved with him have remained high.
Trump was friends with Epstein before becoming president, but had a fall with former financiers of years before his death in prison in 2019.
The birthday letter contained from the text of an alleged dialogue between Trump and Epstein in which Trump calls him a “friend” and says: “May every day be another wonderful secret”. The text is in a raw sketch of the silhouette of a naked woman.
