ROOKE: Newsom Plays Democrat Base Like A Fiddle And They’re Clapping Like Seals
The Governor of Democratic California Gavin Newsom accuses Fox News of defamation in a trial of $ 787 million on Friday morning.
Newsom claims in her trial that Fox News host Jesse Watters lied to her phone calls with President Donald Trump and that the program wrongly published a Trump video to support this assertion.
“If Fox News wants to lie to the American people on behalf of Donald Trump, it should face consequences – just as they did in the Dominion affair,” Newsom told Politico in a statement. “Until Fox is ready to be honest, I will continue to fight against their propaganda machine.”

Several citation tweets from Newsom’s publication on the trial show that his supporters have encouraged him.

Newsom will probably lose his trial, but winning is not the main objective here. He wants to be president so much, and the only way to win what will probably be a very congested primary race is to get the base on his side. Newsom knows leftist activists who have maintenance on his party require that elected democrats fight against Trump and the right in any way possible.
The only way to get the base on its side is to seem to fight the Trump administration, even if it means bringing prosecution like this against Fox News, which, according to the left, is a pro-Trump media organization. (Related: Gavin Newsom continues Fox News)
But there is a major defect in its plan. Having democratic supporters is not enough to win the White House. Newsom must convince enough voters in each state that he will make a good framework. This task seems more and more impossible for Newsom, since its fight against Trump is essentially a fight against American voters who put Trump in office.
