Three and One Half Thoughts on Zohran Mamdani’s Big, Big Win

Since I did not write about it here, I wanted to share some thoughts on the great primary victory of the Democrat mayor of Zohran Mamdani in New York. If you have been saturated by the cover of this race, they do not hit you so terribly original. I just share my point of view.

First of all, I see three reasons why Mamdani won.

The first is the simple fact that democratic voters are angry and dissatisfied with the outgoing democratic political class. We see it everywhere. It is much less of the ideology that it is often depicted. We live in an angry, suspicious and populist populist age. Since the greatest expression of this mood came from the right, the Democrats have often been in the uncomfortable position to take advantage of against This trend, holding the line for institutional continuity, preservation on destruction and many other impulses in a situational manner. But the twin effects of Trump’s return victory and the often fractured and weak response by the Democratic Directorate of Washington have washed everything.
