Alan Sheehan: Swansea City boss ‘won’t put water on fire’ after Nottingham Forest win

Alan Sheehan says that Swansea City has the right to believe again, because their scalp from the Premier League of Nottingham Forest showed that their promise was more than stars in the conference room.
The introduction by Swansea of Great Croatia Luka Modric and the Snoop Dogg rap star in their property structure saw the championship club in the spotlight.
And their summer expenses – their most expensive expenditure since the relegation of the Premier League in 2018 – saw the hope of a return to high -flying flickering in life.
He rushed more in the middle of the rain in the southern Wales when they had humiliated Angel Postcoglou and brought the forest out of the EFL Cup to reach the last 16 for the first time because they were themselves a high-level club.
So, he therefore asked if he was ready to face new levels of waiting for a club that has not even threatened the championship qualifiers in the last four seasons, Sheehan said: “I am not the type to put water on fire – I am probably more a guy who puts gas on it.
“I’m not going to alleviate what people want to believe because I will not divert it. We want to improve last year.
“We build something, I believe it.”
