I ran with Oakley Meta Vanguard AI sports glasses and realized I need more action in my life

The sun was brilliant above, and I was doing my best so as not to enter a sports-jacket sweat while I was running while wearing the new Oakley Meta Vanguard Ai Glasses Sports that Meta unveiled this week in Meta Connect.
Okay, it was more a trotted than a race, and I was on a treadmill, but it was always a decent way to acclimatize to one of the last intelligent and infused portable devices of AI and the closest thing you will find at a Gopro AI.
Oakley Meta Vangauugrds is distinguished from the rest of the Meta Smart Glasses line, which includes Wayfarer Gen 2 style meta-rays and new Meta Ray-Ban displays. These are designed for lovers of fitness and adventure who think of action at a more extreme level.
Instead of a pair of objectives, they have a removable prismatic visor, an ultra-large centered camera (12MP video and 3K) and a tighter three-point fit to keep the frames on your head when you run a slalom or mount the waves in Hawaii (yes, they have an IP67 note).
Lance takes the advantages for a trotting
I am not a guy in action sport and, as a rule, I do not really run anyway (bodybuilding is more my thing), but Meta has set up a lot of more intense exercise options, including the treadmill, where I did my brief test.
So much on the Vanguards Oakley Meta are tailor -made to adapt to extreme activity. Even the speakers open are stronger. Up to 6 dB, I had no trouble hearing music or a meta-a to answer me.
There is a new customizable action button that I could feel at the bottom of the left upper to activate the predefined operations. All buttons are on the lower edges of the stems.
This placement is logical to protect the pimples in more extreme conditions (snow, water skiing), but, more than once, I had a little trouble feeling my path to the right button.
Meta Ai is obviously integrated and, during my trotting, I could ask him to take a video and photos or, better still, to use the integration of the Gramin watch to check my heart rate, my progress, etc. An intelligent feature is the possibility of dispensing with “Hey Meta” and saying “stats”. You do it by updating a parameter in Meta Ai.
It worked well, and I quickly learned that my heart rate did not go up much at all. I tried to increase my rhythm, but hey, you try to run in a sports jacket.
Oakley Meta Vangauugrd can capture the video at predetermined intervals, as well as in slow motion and hyperlapse modes. I was not running fast enough for Slo-Mo, but I walked around to try the hyperlapse.
My video was fairly fast and image stabilization did not do much to smooth it. I think it’s better applied in regular action videos. For what it is worth, the visor felt comfortable but comfortable on my face and showed no signs of slipping.
When my race was finished, we downloaded the video from the visor to our connected phone. It was not so exciting because I really went nowhere, but I was impressed by the way we could superimpose the Garmin statistics on the video and share it with friends. My statistics were terrible, so I don’t share them with you.
Oakley Meta Vangaugrds promises 9 hours of autonomy, which is more than what you get with Meta-Ray-Ban Gen 2. They cost $ 499 and shipped on October 21.
Do you get Smart-Smart glasses, or do you stay with the elegant Ray-Ban Wayfarers? Let me know in the comments. I bet you know my answer.
