The Pentagon Is Considering a Bonkers New Military Recruiting Tactic
The main American military leaders are considering a new recruitment strategy that would exploit the legacy and memory of Charlie Kirk to attract more young Americans to armed services.
The Pentagon would supervise the reader as a “national call for service”, according to US officials who spoke with NBC News. The possible slogans for the recruitment effort include “Charlie woke up a generation of warriors”.
The enrollment strategy could potentially involve Turning Point USA, Kirk’s political organization, transform it into recruitment centers. “This could include inviting recruiters to be present at events or advertising for soldiers at the chapters,” said NBC that two defense officials explained.
There are some 900 official college chapters and around 1,200 high school chapters of Turning Point USA across the country, but the non -profit organization for conservative advocacy received more than 54,000 requests for the new campus chapters within 48 hours after the Kirk assassination, according to To the Tpusa spokesperson, Andrew Kolvet.
The Defense Under-Secretary for staff and preparation, Anthony Tata, is the brain behind the initiative, sources told NBC News.
It was not immediately clear what would be the chronology of the reader, or if it would materialize. A certain dissent has already permeated certain leaders of the Pentagon, who would be concerned about the nightmare of public relations which could follow if it is perceived that the American army is trying to “capitalize on the death of Kirk”, said officials in the News Network.
Kirk was killed last week at an event at the University of Utah Valley. He was immediately martyred by the ideological right, which has since celebrated the 31 -year -old Brandon of shooting as a hinge of the Maga movement.
