Fantasy football last-minute pickups for Week 3 – Troy Franklin, Harold Fannin Jr. among players that can help lineups

At various times in the fantastic football season, injuries, bye weeks and news can need reinforcements for your fantastic range. Every Friday throughout the 2025 NFL season, Matt Bowen will offer pickup options at the end of the week to help fill these holes, emphasizing deeper leagues.
For this reason, this column will mainly focus on noting players in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, with occasional exceptions.
Before week 3, I see deeper league targets in the position of the wide receiver which flashes on the band and produce numbers. And we will start there. In addition, there is a tight recruit ending which obtains a coherent volume in the passage game and a defense that makes games – with a really positive match this week.
Wide receivers
Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos (38.7% Rancard; at Chargers): With 15 targets during his first two games and in an offensive system that is aimed at his skills, Franklin adapts here as WR3 in the deeper league for this week against loaders. Last week in the defeat against the colts, Franklin captured eight of the nine targets for 89 yards and a score (24.0 points). He marked on a start -up concept designed in the low red zone, and the broncos will define it on RPO capture and reading targets. Expect Franklin to see more high percent percentage throws (screens, inclinations, cross) Sunday in Los Angeles.
Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans (17.0% roar; vs colts): Ayomanor has seen at least six targets in each of his first two professional games, and I really like the way he is deployed in the Titans pass game. At 6 feet 2, with the long speed to separate on the melted routes, Ayomanor can win as an isolation target for the quarter-Arrière Cam Ward, and he has the ball skills and playing force to work in the middle of the field. Ayomanor collected 15.6 points during the defeat of week 2 against the Rams, and he flashes the features of a player emerging on a band.
Hunter Renfrow, Carolina Panthers (5.0% Rancard; vs Falcons): In an offense of the panthers which was forced to launch with volume, Renfrow has the increase in the increase this week against the Falcons. During two games, the Panthers quarterrier, Bryce Young, has already attempted 90 assists. This is a large number. And Renfrow took advantage as the main option of a slot machine for Young during the defeat of week 2 against the cardinals, catching seven of the nine targets for 48 yards and two scores (23.8 points). Renfrow also reminded us that he could always separate from the covered man during his touchdown in the low red zone. Let’s play Renfrow this week in deeper formats.

Why Daniel Dopp pleads for Troy Franklin to be repeated
Daniel Dopp and Field Yates offer their fantastic perspectives to Troy Franklin before week 3.
Bhashul Tuten, Jacksonville Jaguars (46.7% reheated; vs Texans): Tuten entered the role No. 2 behind Travis Etienne Jr. during the defeat of week 2 against Bengals – after the Tank Bigsby trade in Eagles – and the recruit responded with 74 yards in total and a touch on 10 keys (15.4 points). With his capacity for explosive movement and his creation of games, Tuten can give you viable fantasy numbers on 8-10 keys per game, and he obtains a defendant of Houston on Sunday which abandoned 136 yards on the ground towards the running backs of the Buccaneers in week 2.
Tyler Allgeier, Falcons d’Atlanta (36.8% notants; at Panthers): In a deeper format, you continue the volume with Allge Plus this week against a defense of the Panthers granting 5.2 YPC (27th in the League). Allgeier has 26 races in the first two games, including three from the interior of the 5 yards line, and he marked the only hit in the match in the Sunday evening victory on the Vikings. In addition, we know that he can play the role of a “closest” at the end of the game because of his racing style, because he had nine races in the fourth quarter against the Vikings. Look for everything to see more keys if the falconons can get up on the panthers in the second half.
Rear quarter
Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals (9.6% Rancard; in Vikings): In relief of Joe Burrow last week, Browning had 17.74 points, launching for 241 yards and two affected, while adding a precipitation score of 1 penis. However, he also launched three choices. With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, Browning has leading options in the road tree. And, in 2023, when Browning started six games for an injured burrow, he had an average of 19.1 ppg. It can be a Russian mountain with Browning in programming, but it has advantages against Vikings in a heavy Bengal system.
Michael Penix Jr., Falcons (28.9% Rancard; at Panthers): The Falcons relied on the racing match in the victory of week 2 against the Vikings, which limited the Penix to only 21 attempts at passes. And I think we could see a similar script against Carolina this Sunday if the Falcons take an early advance. However, if you have to take a quarter-Arrière leaving this week, the Falcons will have match advantages in the passing game. You can search for Penix to take a few shots on the ground early to increase your score totals.
END
Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns (35.6% reduced; vs packers): Fannin experienced a constant use of the Browns offensive to start the season, running 30 routes in the two games played, and the target volume is also there. Fannin, who is on average 11.7 points per game, captured 12 of the 14 targets in the quarter-Arrière Joe Flacco, producing 111 yards. A tight movement with a blanket and the possibility of creating after taking, Fannin adapts as a deeper league option on Sunday.
D / ST
Atlanta Falcons (36.4% Rancard; at Panthers): I was running with the defense of Falcons this week against the panthers. During the victory of week 2 over the Vikings, the Falcons scored a record of 21.0 fantasy points, recording six bags, two interceptions and two forced escapes. This unit dictated the flow of the game against JJ McCarthy and the Minnesota offensive. While managers should not expect another 20 -point game on Sunday, Bryce Young has already launched three choices and was dismissed four times. There are pieces to play here by the defense of Falcons.
