GTA VI delay: What we know so far
Grand Theft Auto VI is among the most anticipated games of all time – and now, the whispers of another delay spread, even if Rockstar remains silent.
Right away, Grand Theft Auto VI is officially scheduled for its release on May 26, 2026, following the Rockstar decision to push its original “end 2025” window next year. According to Insider Gaming, the wait is that the publisher Take -Two Interactive will reaffirm the date of May later in 2025 – to announce a delay in February.

To be clear, nothing has been confirmed. Speculation is fueled by a whirlwind of reports and comments from journalists and game leaks.
