I Tried Dreame’s New Wet and Dry Vacuum That Reduces Allergies by Spraying Your Carpets With Water

Wet and dry vacuum cleaners are a niche product. In theory, they are great because you can use them to mop hard and vacuum it on a carpet without having to change the device. However, wet and dry vacuum cleaners that I tested tend to offer poor carpet performance and weigh too much to be easy to use. The Dreame H15 Pro Carpetflex, with which I became practical during a Dreame event in August, could be an exception to that. I found it easy to use and maneuver, which you don’t always find in a wet and dry vacuum. It is also responsible for a variety of cleaning and disinfection features. This is what is new.
Easier to maneuver
We always test its performance capacities in our Louisville laboratory, Kentucky, but to use it on different types of floor in the Drene demonstration area impressed me with its ability to clean damp messages from the hard soil. I was able to easily ride it through hard wood, suck a lumpy disorder of what looked like frozen milk from the ground.
In addition to effectively cleaning the disorder in a few passes, which struck me the most, it is how the H15 Pro Carpetflex seemed to use and maneuver compared to other wet and dry vacuums that I tested. Despite the painting of 12.8 pounds, making it heavier than the Roborock F25 Ace ComboI had no problem moving it back and forth through the different types of floor coverings that Dreee had in its test area or put it back at the self -cleaning mooring station.
I tried the H15 on several types of floor coverings in the demonstration area, including hardwood and vinyl.
Part of the easy maneuverability seems to come from the Smoothing system, which Drene describes as two different assistance modes that adapt the wheels to move more easily on the surface. During my brief use, it seemed to work well, moving smoothly on the different test surfaces, although it remains to be seen how it results in real use. In the end, it will probably not be as easy to use as an ordinary wireless vacuum cleaner, but it is always a significant improvement compared to the others that I tested.
Cleaning features in charge
“For years, dry damp vacuum cleaners were limited to hard floors, leaving the carpets neglected,” said Judy Shi, director of product strategy at Dreee. “With the H15 Pro Carpetflex, we inaugoul. This machine offers a real all-in-one cleaning, by attacking any mess on any surface with ease and intelligence.”
As Shi indicates, the H15 Pro Carpetflex works on all types of floor coverings. It has 23,000 suction pass for the carpet and delivered with a 780 millililiters for clean water tank and a 700 milliliters tank for used water that you can empty after your cleaning session. It also has various intelligent features and sensors that have become more and more common on vacuum cleaners, with automatic suction adjustment and RGB detection for liquid spills and pet messages.
I used it on hardwood to clean what looked like frozen milk. He cleaned it effectively with a few sweeping.
Like most other wet and dry vacuum cleaners, it also supports hot water cleaning. To clean the thicker fat and dirt, it will rinse the roller with water heated to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. When moor it in the autonomy station, it will rinse the complete system and use hot air drying until 194 degrees Farneheit to circulate the air through the whole machine, including the brush, the pipes and the filters. According to Dreame, this should help prevent humidity, odors and mildew.
It also has a unique characteristic, control of mist dust, which, according to Drene, is designed to reduce allergies and eliminate pollution from the secondary dust caused during the drain of the trash.
The display displays a variety of parameters and the vacuum has automatic suction adjustment and spill detection.
“More than 20 million Americans suffer from dust allergies, and traditional vacuum cleaners are worsening the problem by releasing dust during elimination,” said Shi. “Our mist system captures dust particles from ultra-fine water droplets, transforming them into wet clusters that remain safe in the wastewater tank.”
I could not try myself, but we will test this feature during our tests in the Louisville laboratory to see how effective it is.
