Defeat of the Iranian axis is ‘within our means,’ says Netanyahu
The Prime Minister pronounced a Rosh Hashanah address at the TSAhal General Forum in Tel Aviv.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed war objectives for the coming year in a speech to the Minister of Defense Israel Katz, head of the TDS. Eyal Zamir, during a meeting with members of the TSAhal General Forum in Tel Aviv on Monday.
Netanyahu insisted on the continuation of security and to overcome it the enemies of Israel: “We must destroy the Iranian axis … This is what holds us before us in the coming year, which could be a historic year for the security of Israel.”
War objectives are “to our means”
The defeat of the Iranian axis of terrorist proxies through the region “is our means,” said the Prime Minister.
He stressed that an objective of the coming year is to conclude the current war in Israel-Hamas, “the elimination of Hamas and the release of our hostages, or to guarantee that Gaza never constitutes a threat to Israel.”
Netanyahu thanked the TSAhal General Forum for his efforts and for great successes has obtained his last year, successes that have often not come easily.

“It turned out to be a magnificent generation that has made many painful sacrifices,” said Netanyahu, also deploring “great sacrifices and heroism of this generation, which many have complimentary”.
To achieve war objectives and the defeat of the Iranian axis, Netanyahu informed that the feat “would require two basic qualities: unity in crisis and determination at every moment”.
The Prime Minister concluded his speech with a toast: “that we have a year of security, victory and unit. Happy New Year.”
