Relievers Roki Sasaki, Clayton Kershaw help as Dodgers reduce magic number to 1

Phoenix – Dodgers may have finally found an answer to their enclosure problems that have long.
Just use some entries.
In a 5-4 victory over the diamonds in Arizona which lowered their magic number to win the National League to the west to one, the Dodgers again wasted an end of the game when their traditional lifts have vacillated. They still haven’t returned the victory as simple as it should have.
But win, they did it tonight – thanks largely to two -roundless rounds of Roki Sasaki and Clayton Kershaw.
The match was not decided before the 11th round, when Tommy Edman gave the Dodgers an advance that they would not have abandoned.
However, he would never have arrived there without the contributions of Sasaki and Kershaw of the enclosure of the Lights.
Activated from the injured list shortly before the match, and making its first appearance in the majors since a shoulder injury in early May, Sasaki lit promising signs with a goalless frame at the bottom of the seventh round, a 3-1 3-1 advance had been attached by Blake Snell of six rounds, a race for a race, and an early offensive which included a habourette with two shots of Blake Snell and pages.
Sasaki’s rapid ball was on average from 98 to 99 MPH, was precisely located in the corners of the striking area, and even induced some swing-and-miss, things that he never did regularly while displaying an MPM of 4.72 in eight departures at the start of the season.
He paired it with a brand separator who was also ordered with more precision than to any time of his first MLB pass.
Sasaki only needed 13 locations to remove the side in order, punctuating its exit with a pair of stick withdrawals on the four sailors of 99 mi / h. While returning to the canoe, he looked at his teammates with a stoic look. Just about everyone, including Shohei Ohtani, applauded in approval.
The disaster struck the eighth, after the dodgers extended their advance at 4-1 on the double of RBI of Teoscar Hernández in the upper half of the round.
The pillar of a season, Alex Vesia, was in trouble by abandoning a single to Ketel Marte, a walk towards Geraldo Perdomo, and a double RBI in Corbin Carroll – all with a withdrawal.
The recruit to launch hard Righty Edgardo Henriquez could not put out the fire from there, abandoning a race on a swing from Gabriel Moreno in front of the plate which moved away from the receiver Ben Rortvedt, then another when Pinch-Hitter Adrian del Castillo remained alive on a generous call at two speeds) before lifting.
For the second consecutive night, a three -game advance advance at the end of the match had evaporated in the air.
This time, however, manager Dave Roberts had a new card to play. A night after Kershaw volunteered to launch in relief, the future left -hander of the fame was summoned for the ninth round.
In what was his first relief appearance since the infamous match of the 2019 NL Division NL series, Kershaw was effective. He removed the side in order using a dive of Tommy Edman in the center. He looked comfortable in the high -level rescue role type that Dodgers may need him to fill in October.
In the extras, the rest of the enclosure of the lifts finally held the blow. Blake Treinen inherited a base jam with two outings in the 10th, but made James McCann fly on the shallow right field. Justin Wrobleski (another launcher that started this season as a starter) received a safeguard situation in the 11th, after Edman chose a race with his third sure night, and withdrew the three strikers he faced.
