NEW YORK – Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Al Thani told Breitbart News exclusively in an interview here on the touch of the United Nations General Assembly (Unga) that everyone turns to US President Donald Trump as the “only” who can help bring peace to Gaza.

“I believe that the meeting with the Arab and Muslims leaders who took place with President Trump was a very important meeting,” Al Thani told Breitbart News exclusively. “It was a very important event during the Unga. Basically, the main objective is to highlight for the president the danger of the region and that we must put an end to what Israel does. Basically, he does not only compromise the security of the region, he has jeopardized throughout the decades in the region. The leaders and he wants to work with them to find a solution to this and put an end to it.

Al Thani was seated for about half an hour with Breitbart News at the Qatari permanent mission at the United Nations early Thursday afternoon for a large-scale discussion on a number of major questions. Al Thani’s interview with Breitbart News occurred after Trump met earlier this week with Arab leaders here after his speech to Unga, and following Israel’s decision to make a military strike on the capital of Qatar – in an apparent effort to eliminate Hamas negotiators. Although many things are still unknown on the effectiveness of the Israeli attack, the fact that many Qataris have been injured and that at least one – a security manager – was killed has rapped the Qataris and the Arab world. Trump himself published a statement by saying after he did not think that the attack was productive or in the United States or the Israeli interest.

“Unilaterally bombing in Qatar, a sovereign nation and an ally close to the United States, which works very hard and takes risks with us to negotiate peace, does not advance the objectives of Israel or America,” said Trump on Truth Social in the aftermath of the strike.

Since then, some reports have indicated that Trump had been overthrown by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on strike in advance, but Trump categorically denied these reports. Trump, on the other hand, welcomed Al Thani to Trump Tower for discussions on the issue and also welcomed Arab leaders for discussions in New York. He also organized a state visit with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the White House Thursday where it will surely be a subject of discussion.

Al Thani told Breitbart News to their meeting on Tuesday, Trump clearly indicated that he was attached to peace in Gaza.

“The president reiterated his commitment to end the war in Gaza,” said Al Thani. “He mentioned that he is working with his team on a peace plan in Gaza and that we are trying to help and help his team make the plan more acceptable and supported by the region as well.”

The indignation of the Arab world of Netanyahu on Doha’s strike cannot be overestimated. Most Arab leaders have torn it down, even Jordanian King Abdullah II using his address to Unga to express his dissatisfaction.

Al Thanii told Breitbart News that again the Arab world, the Middle East region and frankly the whole world look at Trump in the hope that he can prevent Netanyahu from pursuing such actions and carrying out a possible end to the war in Gaza. He specifically said that Trump was “the only one” to be able to brake Netanyahu.

“We have worked with the president and the administration on several conflicts not only in the Middle East, but even outside the Middle East and we see that President Trump, his policies since his arrival, is to end wars and start a new era of prosperity and development,” said Al Thani. “Basically, when we work with him in these files, it is essentially to help and bring peace and stability to – our region is of course our priority – but also beyond. I believe, looking at the president’s commitment to bring peace to the Middle East is very important. The proposal submitted by President Trump was a total of the United States and his efforts.

When Trump visited the Middle East earlier this year at the start of his second term, the Arab leaders hoped that his return to the presidency would inaugurate a new era of peace in the region. Trump visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar during this trip. When asked if they still hope that Trump can succeed here, Al Thani told Breitbart News that “of course” the Arab leaders. He underlined the UNGA Trump speech, and his meeting later with the Arab leaders.

“We still hope,” said Al Thani. “What we heard from the president two days ago was very encouraging on Tuesday at the meeting with the Arab leaders was very encouraging, and we hope to go up on the right track and that we hope that Netanyahu listens and stops what he does. All the questions of the visits and the offers signed to us are now. Qatari only but among others and other partners in the region. »»

Al Thani has reiterated that Trump is the only person who can succeed.

“We hope that if there is someone who can bring stability to the Middle East, they must restore order,” Al Thani told Breitbart News. “Right now, what is happening right now is Netanyahu’s disorder and the way he behaves in the Middle East. Someone has to stop him and we don’t see anyone as capable of arresting him except President Trump.”

When asked if he meant Trump has the power to succeed here unlike someone else, Al Thani simply replied: “Yes. He is the President of the United States. “

More from the exclusive interview with Al Thani with Breitbart News is coming.
