Old storm clip misrepresented as powerful Typhoon Ragasa

The Super Typhon Ragasa swept the Philippines, Taiwan and southern China in September 2025, bringing fierce winds and hammering rains, but images of people fighting against a train platform do not show the recent storm. The video actually represents a sudden wind storm which struck a station in the south of the city of Shanwei in China in April 2024.

Similar publications connecting video to Typhon Ragasa have circulated on publications on social networks in various languages, including Chinese, English, Polish, Malays and Thai.
