Hard to imagine a worse time to deport Afghan refugees, human rights advocates say

The Afghan refugees who lived in Pakistan returned to their homeland in the province of Kandahar on May 7. Tens of thousands of refugees in Pakistan and Iran are also forced to return to Afghanistan.

There were 71,000 deportations in the first half only June, according to the UN estimates. These Afghan refugees return to a country plagued by a humanitarian crisis.
