Democratic Congressional Candidate Laughs At Charlie Kirk Assassination
A candidate for the Democratic Chamber published a video on social media mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk comparing her to the brief suspension of ABC of the actor Jimmy Kimmel.
Shelby Campbell, 31, who presents himself to represent the 13th district of strongly democratic Michigan, seemed to joyfully celebrate Kirk’s death and Kimmel’s return to ABC in a Tiktok video, causing important reactions.
“Hey, Maga. How much it hurts that Jimmy Kimmel is back, but you can’t get your person back?” Campbell said in the video, followed by what seemed to be a long and joyful cry.
Campbell replied To the criticism of his remarks writing in a post of Thursday X: “Yes it’s me that it calls me Dark Humor Lol.”

The candidate’s candidacy on his chronology X declares: “Good evening, my name is Shelby Campbell and I present myself for the 13th District of the Congress here in the county of Wayne Michigan. I am a real basic candidate and I can’t wait to defend the people! Contributions are greatly appreciated. ” Friday afternoon, the post made nine tastes and 967 comments.

“We recognize that political violence and loss of life are serious questions, and we present our condolences to anyone who has suffered a real loss,” said Campbell about his Tiktok video, in a long declaration to the Daily Call News Foundation. She added that the controversial video “used the dark political satire to highlight a disturbing truth” and continued to accuse the kirk killed of “inflammatory rhetoric”.
“The characters of the media like Jimmy Kimmel, who spread false information on the assassin and was then removed from the air, are confronted with a temporary suspension, while those which are translated into inflammatory rhetoric – like the late Charlie Kirk – wrote their permanent influence in a way that feeds the partisan grievy,” wrote the candidate in his DCNF declaration. “The comment must be a striking comparison of two different types of political cancellation.”
