The 0-3 Titans du Tennessee today face 0-3 Texans from Houston in Houston. If we are honest, it is not really surprising that the titans enter this game 0-3. It would always be a high task for the Titans to win one of their first two games, and we did not know when the season started that Daniel Jones was going to go to Indy and become the second coming of Andrew Luck. The Texans, however, entered the season as heavy favorites to win the division and had aspirations to take the next step to become a competitor in good faith.

It obviously did not happen for them. They are badly left, mainly because of not being able to close the games. This of Dianni Russini:

…. Texans 0-3 continue to find ways to return them. Week 1 against rams? An escape with less than two minutes to play. Week 2 against Tampa Bay? Three cracks failed from the 1 yards line, plus a missed bag on the fourth and 10s which set up a hit Bucs with six seconds to play. Week 3 against Jacksonville? Two reversals of the fourth quarter in the rating range, including an interception with 27 seconds on the clock. Three games, three intestinal purposes.

Titans are likely to end the Texans season effectively. Can they take advantage of it? The key will be to find a way to get Cam Ward in a rhythm at the start of this game. It will not be easy, running a bad right backup against Houston’s front. Friday, we obtained news that Oli Udoh will obtain the departure on the right, with the recruit of free agent not drafted Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson being the swing tackle.

I would love to see early and easy targets for Calvin Ridley. He struggled with drops at the start of the season, but he is always their best attacking leader. The quarter coach Bo Hardegree, who takes over as a game player of head coach Brian Callahan this week, should find a way to put the ball in the hands of Ridley, assuming that he can catch him, from the jump.

In defense, Dennard Wilson must take advantage of the Houston’s offensive offensive line. Again, it is not an easy task without the presence of the edge to say. Jeffery Simmons was really good during the first three games. He must continue this today if the Titans will have a chance to stop the Texans.

The Ornius Sneed made the headlines earlier this week when he replied: “Who?” Asked about Nico Collins. You like boastful. Now he has to go there and save him today. It will not be easier because Collins is a very good receiver, and Sneed has not played as a standstill since his arrival in Tennessee.

The only chance that the titans have here is to find a way to stay ahead of the sticks. Stop committing the penalties at the start of the stockings that placed them in so many third and long situations because they simply cannot protect Ward in these situations.
