If you have sorted an Asus Rogx Ally pre-order for next month, you may want to keep the next SanDisk storage products on your radar. Especially if the 1 to Basic Xbox Ally Ally or Xbox Ally X are a little too thin to your liking.
The brand has just announced that it will bring new products on the market specifically treated with the next PC computers “in the coming months”. The first is the microSD SANDISK card for ROG Ally (X), the second being the SSD NVME WD Black SN7100X for ROG Xbox Ally (X) and PC.
Let’s start with the microSD card. It is available in three variants, offering capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB. These will cost you $ 69.99 / £ 49.99, $ 149.99 / £ 104.99 and $ 299.99 / £ 209.9
The SSD NVME can be used with Allied pocket computers as well as PC. There are two models here, offering capacities of 2 TB and 4 TB at $ 159.99 / £ 123.99 and $ 279.99 / 239.99 £ respectively.
The microSD card, as mentioned, has been specially designed for Ally Xbox pocket computers, which indicating that they support “the complete integration of the Xbox”.
You can expect reading speeds up to 200 MB here, as well as a lifetime warranty if defects occur.
The SN7100X has up to 7,250 MB / s of reading speeds and the writing speeds of 6,900 MB. You will also get a one -month trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate here, although you have to be a subscriber for the first time in order to use it.
I was lukewarm on the laptops to come – which should be launched on October 16, 2025 – in my Asus Rogx Ally Impressions Piece of Gamescom 2025. Although I certainly see the attraction of a steam bridge device with an integration of the full Xbox ecosystem, incoherent performance and a frustrating dashboard that left me more.
