Police chief William Renye said that a shooter had opened fire in a Michigan church during the Sunday services before setting the building on fire, killing at least one person and injuring nine before the police pulled him. Hundreds of people were inside the church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints in the canton of Grand White when a 40-year-old man inserted his vehicle into the front door, then left the vehicle and started to shoot. The suspect would also have set fire to the church, said Renye. “We believe that we will find additional victims once we have found the area where the fire was,” he added.
