AI Can Now Help You Create Top-Grade Word Documents and Excel Spreadsheets
I am not a wizard with Word and Excel. Are you? Do we know what to do with all these many menus at the top? Now, thanks to AI, maybe we don’t need it.
Microsoft added an AI to these yesterday software with the agent mode for Word and Excel. Propelled by Microsoft 365 COPILOT, the agent mode can help anyone – even those who have little experience – create documents and sheets of high quality professional quality. Microsoft will add the agent mode to PowerPoint to a later date.
Microsoft has also added an office agent for Copilot Cat to help create PowerPoint presentations and Word documents. The functionality for Excel will be added later.
Mood
It is a new vision of the wave of atmosphere coding, by which developers can create software with invites in natural language instead of writing lines of code in hand, said Sumit Chauhan, vice-president of the company of the Microsoft office products group.
“Start with a simple prompt, then work in an iterative way with Copilot – direct it because it orchestrates the tasks in several stages to deliver office documents, calculation sheets and high quality presentations,” said Chauhan in a press release. “This is the new working model for the collaboration of human agent.”
How the agent mode works
Suppose you want to create a household budget in Excel. Say the agent mode to create budget categories such as rent or mortgage, grocery store, public services, gas and entertainment. You can have agent mode creation formulas to let yourself be known if you are above and under the budget, among other tasks. Agent mode in Excel could also help you create a financial analysis for a business.
In Word, the agent mode can help you create or refine an unlimited number of documents, such as the revision and cleaning of your CV, the composition of a holiday letter or the writing of a step report or a summary of the executive for a company.
Microsoft says that Word Agent mode “manages heavy work: writing content, suggesting refinements and asking clarification questions.” The consumer works with the agent mode to continue to refine and improve the document to the finished product.
Copilot cat office agent
You can start creating a PowerPoint from Copilot Chat, using a prompt such that “Create a PowerPoint game at 10 slides from the most popular technological products in the United States.” The office agent will then work with you to clarify the intention, such as the visual theme and the target audience, refine the presentation and determine the quantity of research required.
How to start
Agent in Copilot for Excel and Word is now available in the Frontier program for customers under Microsoft 365 COPILOT license and Microsoft 365 personal or family subscribers.
